My Film Has Been Installed, and there are Bubbles!?2017-03-27T06:54:11+00:00

Do not be alarmed by any appearances of “Bubbles”. These are actually water pockets and will dry naturally. If the window faces the sun, it can dry within a few days, if the window does not get direct sun, sometimes it can take 4 weeks. We have had some windows, that receive no sun, in a dark area, take almost 2 months to dry. Whilst the customer was initially concerned, we were able to inspect and assure the customer it would dry, and upon a later inspection confirmed the film was finally cured. During the curing process, please do not clean the windows or attempt to burst the bubbles with a pin.

Please refer to your warranty card for cleaning information. Generally we do not recommend using Windex as this contains Ammonia which will cause the film to deteriorate.

A soft, microfibre cloth is generally all that is needed to clean the windows.

What Do I Need to Know About The Warranty?2017-03-27T06:47:59+00:00

Your Warranty is issued upon final payment. The warranty is a card supplied by the Film Manufacturer. Different Manufacturers have different warranty periods. Some are 12 months, some are 3 years, some are 10 years, some are lifetime. It is important to keep a copy of your warranty and receipt (Proof Of Payment) as any warranty claims are honoured by the Manufacturer and they will not accept any claims without the warranty card.

Please ensure you read your warranty card carefully. There may be information on it regarding window film care including instructions on chemicals not to use that may damage the film. Your warranty card may also explain the film curing process.

Do I Need To Do Anything Prior To Installation?2017-03-27T06:43:13+00:00

Generally, no. During the quoting process, our Installers may advise on any furniture or blinds that you may need to move prior to installation. They may also ask for any Air Conditioning units to be turned off to minimise air flow and contamination during installation. Apart from that, as long as the area is safe and clear from any hazards, our Installers will Clean the inside of the windows prior to installation. If there are any pets or young children, we do ask for them to not have access to the room during installation as our Installers use Knives and Blades. Additionally, pet hair can become airborne and contaminate the film.

Our staff will give you an estimate time upon Quote Acceptance. Each job is unique, some jobs with Timber frames can take considerably longer than those with Aluminium Frames. Our Installers follow the motto of “Do It Right, First Time”. So rather than rushing through to complete the job and rush off to the next one, we ensure the film is installed correctly, and the site is left clean and tidy and inspected prior to leaving.

Our quotes are valid for 30 days. If you require an extension for approval, please notify us.

What Happens After I Accept Ur Quote?2017-03-27T06:30:22+00:00

Once you are happy with our quote, we will require a deposit from you. This allows us to commence pre-cutting the film and ordering any specialised film if needed. The size of the deposit will depend on the quote. Some jobs may require full upfront payment. Deposits are non-refundable.

Can I Email you for a Quote?2017-03-27T06:26:57+00:00

Absolutely. Ideally we’d like a photo of the windows to be tinted, and measurements of each individual glass panel, in millimeters. So if there is a Window Bay that consists of say two sliding panels and 4 fixed panels, then we will require sizes for 6 individual panels, length and height. Also if the panels have a Manufacturer Stamp, we will need to know the details. We will then email you a quote and if you are happy with it, we then visit you onsite for a final measure. This is to double check the measurements and to also discuss the film requirements. It also allows us to identify any possible hazards such as furniture or blinds that may need to be moved prior to installation.

Absolutely. During the Quoting Process, we will show you a range of samples. We also have photos of jobs completed on our Facebook Pages. We may even be able to refer you to drive past a property we’ve tinted (with the owner’s OK!) so you can see for yourself!
